My mother lived at Creek Point for 5 months and I lived there for 3 months. We were told that it was state law that I had to be on the lease and that it was simple to get off the lease at the end of the summer. I would pay $50 and my name would be taken off.
I paid the $50. They never took my name off the lease. My mother got evicted for financial reasons and they are trying to make me pay back charges. The collection agency told me that there was something in my file that she hadn't noticed - the company never signed my paperwork. She said she would call Creek Point but they decline then I'm held responsible.
They have also done illegal things regarding my mother and her eviction.
Minor other things include no locks on all ground floor windows, shoddy windows, etc.
DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

I've also heard of illegal money based fines by the front office. Always get a receipt and never pay with cash.
