This is not a good place to rent an apartment

The managers hre are very dishonest. I was asked to give a security deposit of $1300. When I moved out there was nothing wrong with the apartment. No holes in the wall or any other major damage, and my mother and I spent two hours cleaning the apartment before I turned in my keys. They told me that it took the entire deposit to fix the place up becuase the puppy that I oaid rent for as well urinated on the carpet several times.
They are just taking advantage of me becuase they know I had to move due to ending an abusive relationship with the person I was staying with. I even moved to another one of their properties to make my move as easy as possible. Now they are saying that since I didn't transfer any of the $1300 I had with Creek Point over, that they will not accept my next months rent and will try to evict me. I will go to court if I have to, although I hope that someone at the scottstevenson home office will not allow me to continue to be treated unfairly.

I have lived here for two years now and have adversaly found out that nearly 90% of people who have complained like this is because it was entirely their fault. If they replaced the carpet then thats where your money went. Also if your deposit was that high than your credit is terrible! And please learn to spell.

To the person who originally posted, you are completely right. They took my deposit too when they didn't deserve it. They treated me like garbage. Even from the first week I moved in coming over to report that I need to stop grilling on my deck. (I didn't even own a grill! I simply had a bag of dog food out there that only was there for 2 hours until I had time to buy a container for it.) It took me 10 minutes to explain to the stupid girl that it was dog food and not charcoal.
Secondly, don't even pay attention to "positive-thinker" and "alwayshappy69" they obviously work for creek point or they wouldn't have taken your post so personal or attacked you personally. Just shows again how shady they are.

Just because positive-thinker and alwayshappy69 don't agree with you doesn't automatically mean that they are staff. Not everyone has or will experience the same things as you. It's easy enough to blame the big picture for your little problems.
