This is a magical place. I have two stories, 10 windows, 18 ft. ceilings, 5 lofts, 2 baths, hardwood floors, brick walls -- almost 1400 square feet to flourish in. Ignore the other reviews. The IRS is trying to kill the Artist Warehouse Movement. Don't believe the hype. 75% of us are real, dedicated, working artists. Jazz musicians, sculptors, mask makers, clowns, punk rockers, photographers - we've got gallery full of art better than the Walker!!! Whoever wrote the previous reviews should be spanked. The spaces require an alternative perspective to make it work. They're a bit raw, but the rooms are finished, with doors that close! If you've lived in any of the other Artspace project, you know this is a rarity. The life style requires dedication, and community. WE NEED GOOD FAMILIES WHO WANT TO LIVE, WORK, AND PLAY IN THIS BEAUTIFUL RENOVATED WAREHOUSE. Reference me, Brently MD, and I will give you a tour of my place.

I'm thinking about renting a loft here soon and I'm hearing lots of conflicting comments. I want to live around other artists but I also value peace, quiet and personal safety. I would love to get some feedback soon before I sign a lease, especially if you are a current tenant. email me! ----------------------

Honestly, there are MUCH better artist loft deals than this, especially for the amount of rent for this bldg. Personal safety, especially for women, is a serious issue at FFL. Management does nothing about it, and it is getting worse all the time. Summer is especially bad. I won't be renewing my lease this year, for safety reasons and because the rents are too high for what you get. I'm probably going to move to Carlton Place Lofts--a much better deal.
