Steer clear of this one. You'll thank me.

There are so many complaints that I have about this place, that I'm amazed I've lived there two years.

Things didn't even start off well with them and I began resenting their procedures even before I moved in (we were promised one apartment and then it was rented out from under us and we had to take another because we'd already given notice where we were).

The apartment, when "move in ready" to their standards was not even close to "move in ready" to mine.I filled their walk through sheet and had to write on the back with all the problems I found. There was everything from bleached out spots on the carpet to missing screens to missing/not working fans in the bathrooms to a sliding glass door that didn't work (even after they "fixed" it, my good sized 14 year old boy can't open it without help) to a rickety railing on my balcony (which I've never used for fear of falling 2 stories).

My 2 bedroom is the largest of their sizes (1060 sq ft, I think) and it has one small window air conditioner which doesn't even cool the livingroom appropriately, much less either of the two bedrooms. They don't allow you to put in a window air conditioner, so be prepared to roast throughout June, July, August and some Septembers if you move into one of these units.

You're also not allowed to add cable or phone outlets, so if your apartment only has one cable outlet in the livingroom, you either have to run wire through the house or do without cable anywhere else.Same deal with the phone.

Their management staff all provide horrible to no service. They had one good person who wised up, quit and moved out after only a year.Even after taking things to the daily people and being told only the general manager can make a decision on something, the general manager (Denise) will refuse to talk to you directly and send her ruling down through her minions.Who knows how much of the actual question/problem she gets 3rd hand.Sometimes she doesn't even deign to make a decision at all until you've called 3 or 4 times because neither she nor the minions will return calls.

The main maintenance guy (Gary) is stubborn, incompetent and argumentative. He argues with you when you tell him you're having a problem.Often claims that something you say is an issue "isn't possible".If he decides something isn't enough of an emergency (we had a sink leaking into the cabinet underneath which ruined everything we had under there on a holiday weekend) he'll tell you you'll have to wait until the next business day for him to come back and fix it, which leaves you unable to use essential things in your apartment sometimes for several days. We've complained about our dish washer not getting things clean several times over 2 years and we still rewash things on a regular basis because he "couldn't find anything wrong".We've complained about constantly clogging and overflowing toilets on several occasions and he "couldn't find anything wrong" there either. Our thermostat stopped working around October and still isn't fixed. It took him 4 tries to fix a lock on our door and after breaking a key off in the lock, we finally asked specifically for someone BESIDES Gary to come help us and they fixed it on the first try.

In the spring and summer no one parks in the underground garage, so there's never any decent parking spots, even on a Friday and Saturday night when you'd think people with a life are out.

The "security" is laughable. The bulbs in the hallways are so dim I'm afraid I'll be mugged walking through and not be able to identify the person for lack of light. They've just recently upgraded the fixtures in the garage, which were almost non-existant previously. The "security" doors are almost always propped open and unattended, so pretty much anyone can walk in.People often let others piggy back in as well.

We've made multiple noise complaints to the office which have never been either acknowledged or followed up on.In a couple of cases we've gone pounding on neighbor's doors ourselves because the management wouldn't deal with them.In another couple cases we had to resort to calling the police because neither the management nor our door pounding did any good.

Man, I could go on and on about this place and their ridiciulous rules and policies and rent raising.I hope the information contained here so far will help discourage unwitting victims.
