we moved in in june of 2002 and have had a pretty good experience so far. the staff are kind and courtious, and quick to get something fixed that you request. they have adequate parking, secured entry, and spacious one bedroom apartments. There is a bus stop nereby, and conveinience store right across the street,subway, and some other small stores in a little strip mall. In addition they have a ok sized laundry room and a fair price for each load.

What you left out is that the landlord is a scam artist. When you leave they hit you up with all kinds of charges that are supposed to be wear and tear items. Their favorite is new blinds. The way they have this deal rigged the tenant always gets charged for new blinds, even when the landlord is deducting it as an expense. I know of someone else whom they tried to charge for ---- roach removal after he left. They get away with it because most tenants are illiterate immigrants who do not know their rights as tenants. Northlakes Property management is a real scum bag company.
