My 3 years of living their i never had any complaints. I noticed that if you treat the owner and his workers with respect and pay on time you get great respect back and on-time repairs if you have any. I had one repair the whole time i was there and that was the a/c and they came and fixed it that day. For the price of rent it is well worth the stay.

Hmmm -- I know people who pay their rent on time -- yet still are waiting on multiple repairs, months after requesting them... These recent positive reviews do not reflect the realty that I've seen regarding Highcrest.

I ALWAYS treated the owner and his staff with repect, with more respect than they gace me. Our air conditioner broke, at the beginning of summer - months passed with no repair. We finally had to buy our own air conditioner. I do believe that the owner has a few preferred renters, they get their repairs done immediately. It has nothing to do with respect, because I was a good tennant and very respectful. I am actually surprised by the recent positie reviews, too, like the person abone me wrote. I have the feeling management or the owner is trying to boost their horrible ratings by making up nice stories. I wonder how the people in the building that caught fire are doing. I hope they got their places fixed in a timely manner.

I personally think who wrote that nice review up there was probably management. There is NO such thing in getting your stuff fixed that timely(more like months and months and months if that).otherwise, the owner don't give a crap about fixing you stuff but he sure wants you money when it comes to paying your rent. As for the people who endured the fire, they have not been reinbursed for the stuff that burned up by the owner's neglience. There are NO fire alarms working here and that is the way it will be.There is proof out there that there were NO working fire alarms on the day of the fire. There is also flying roaches spreading between the building going thru the plumbing. The current resident manager is also a convicted felon with 1st degree drug charges.Just look her name up and you will find it. Who wants to pay for substandard living conditions just to live here.If anyone contests this, they are probably management trying to paint the frosting over the cake to make it look nicer then what it really is!!!!!
