I personally think who wrote that nice review up there was probably management. There is NO such thing in getting your stuff fixed that timely(more like months and months and months if that).otherwise, the owner don't give a crap about fixing you stuff but he sure wants you money when it comes to paying your rent. As for the people who endured the fire, they have not been reinbursed for the stuff that burned up by the owner's neglience. There are NO fire alarms working here and that is the way it will be.There is proof out there that there were NO working fire alarms on the day of the fire. There is also flying roaches spreading between the building going thru the plumbing. The current resident manager is also a convicted felon with 1st degree drug charges.Just look her name up and you will find it. Who wants to pay for substandard living conditions just to live here.If anyone contests this, they are probably management trying to paint the frosting over the cake to make it look nicer then what it really is!!!!!

Thank you for posting the truth! I have family who lived there, and I feared for their safety every day. Thank God they got out. How the place is allowed to continue operating under these conditions, I have no idea!

How horrible for those fire victims. As a FORMER resident, when I first heard of the fire, my heart poured out to these families affected by the fire, because I immediately knew these poor residents would never get reimbursed, and it would take forever to get things fixed. And, just as I thought, I was right. I am so sorry to hear that. I agree with this writer that any good reviews here are management trying to boost their ratings, it had been down in the 30 percent till those good reviews all of a sudden came pouring in. I had contacted the city when I lived there, and they told me they knew exactly who I was talking about when I told them about Highcrest living conditions - he said the owner has been cited and fined on numerous occasions for code violations. Why they keep letting him violate more codes is beyond me. I was actually mad at the city about this. It is true that the buildings are infested with drug users, bugs, and mold. I wish I had known about this site before I moved here - it would have saved me and my family a lot of agony.
