Going downhill quickly

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I have lived at Lakeshore Oaks since October 2007 and can't wait to move next spring when my lease is up. When I first moved here the management was great. They were helpful and responsive. Not any more. We are on our third set of managers in less than 2 years, each progressively worse than the last. This is a pet community which allows dogs of all sizes. Unfortunately, many of the tenants do not clean up after their dogs. There used to be doggie waste bags for tenant use and our building is always out of them. For those of us who want to clean up after our pets, and were guaranteed pet cleanup stations as part of our leases, we are now on our own. I can't tell you how many times I have provided bags to my neighbors because they didn't bring any with them. Now, unexpectedly, I find myself unemployed and the office is unwilling to help me with renegotiating the terms of my lease or being flexible with rent due dates without charging me a hefty late fee. While I realize that this is not their problem, a little consideration would be nice. In a nutshell, I loved it here when I first moved in and now I can't wait to move out. I am counting the days.
