I have lived there for two years. It is wonderful. I enjoy leaving for work each morning and watch everyone walk towards downtown, when i return in the evening the are all walking to thier cars.
My only complaint in the parking. If Saint Paul would like to increase living they should establish affordable parking.

Great For Professionals? for the person who complained about parking in lowertown, I think you are mis-informed or are not aware how amazingly cheap and abumdant parking is in losertown. Honestly. there is the Farmers market parking as well as indoor parking at Lowertown commons and the near the parkside as well as three publicly owned lots directly accross Kellogg Blvd. One is owned by the city and the other by the county. they charge $2 a day to park. I fyou can find a complaint about that that you truely have no sense of the market. I lived and worked in d town mpls for 6 years. I paid $300 a month for contract parking. I am not a big fan of lowertown generally...too dead and slow...nothing to do or see after five...but certainly parking is not a legitimate concern. thanks, |
