Horrible security

I have lived in MacLaren Hill for only four months, and my car has been broken into twice. Not only has my car been broken into during daytime, it was parked in my reserved space in a lit, underground garage shared by other residencies. This building is supposedly secure and entered only by MacLaren hill residents due to a garage access code. Does this mean the thieves live in the buildings' Most likely.
Durand Associates has collected information on auto theft in the buildings and countless reports have been filed (If I remember correctly, 67). Durand has done NOTHING to improve security. The topic is discussed, some half-assed attempt at "more police patrols" is made, and the same thing happens again. They need constant security systems, through cameras or a guard within the garge itself, and this has NOT been done.
If I had known about these problems before, I would have looked elsewhere. But when you buy a place for $160k, you're kind of stuck.
