If I wasn't relocating, I would probably live here another twenty years! The complex is older (the first buildings opened in 1968), but has always been well-maintained, possibly because the construction company that built it also owns and manages it. Anything I have asked for in the way of upgrades (painting, new carpet) have been quickly fulfilled. I even came home one day, and to my great surprise found NEW appliances that I didn't even ask for!

Laundry is on every floor with efficient machines. I also understand that McKnight Village boasts the largest outdoor pool of any apartment complex in the Twin City area. They also have an indoor pool, which many complexes lack.

If you are looking for parties and a lot of younger people, look elsewhere. Most of the residents are retirees, which is fine with me. When I come home, I want peace and quiet, and you will find it here! Sometimes it seems like I am the only one in the building, it is so quiet! And I have always felt safe here. Apartments are HUGE, my one bedroom is 812 square feet! Management is very courteous, efficient and professional.

McKnight Village is VERY close to 3M and right off of I-94, right across the street from a regional park, ten minutes from downtown St. Paul, and twenty minutes from downtown Minneapolis.

Check it out! It's my bet you will not find a better value anywhere in the Twin Cities.

McKnight Village is horrible apartment all the old people complain and then they expect you too be as quite as a church mouse!! Also they always have ambulances almost everyday and also someone dying all the time!! The managment is horrible especially the caretakers in 181 the woman is fata nasty!! Bev is lazy and Grace is the best!!
