I have lived at McKnight Village apartments for almost one full year now, and will not be renewing my lease for another year. I am a 20 year old college student, and live with my 21 year old roommate. We are very busy people, hardly ever home and make very little noise in the apartment due to this. Still, since we moved in we have received 3 noise complaints due to the residents that live below us. They complained no matter what we did, including walking too loudly and being in our kitchen after 10 pm. Management was extremely rude to us regarding the situation, and more or less blew us off as dumb kids that didnt deserve respect. In another incident, my friend's car was towed out of the parking lot after she stayed overnight at my apartment. When I called management to ask why in the world her car had been towed, they said that it looked old and abandoned, so they towed it. We have had nothing but problems with management since we moved in, and we are very quiet and respectful tenants. I cant imagine what would happen if anyone the least bit rowdy were to move in, but I would NOT recommend it. Older people would probably have a much easier time living here, as most of the tenants are retired people. The tenants and neighbors have been mostly very nice and welcoming, it has just been the management that has been a problem.
