Because of the events that have happened here recently, sadly I do not feel comfortable advising anyone to live here. 1st the staff, they are just so RUDE when they don't have to be, even for simple questions they talk to you like they're annoyed that you're bothering them. I called the office to let them know that my car had been broken into (driver window was shattered and stereo was stolen day before Thanksgiving) and they told me to call the police and just hung up, no sorry to hear that ... 2nd- the lack of vital info
another car was broken into on that day (neighbor told me) but when I asked if anyone else's car had been broken into I was lied to, also I told a co-worker that lives in a different bldg about my car and found out that storage lockers in her bldg had also been broken into in the same week that storage lockers in my bldg had been
these things need to be communicated to the residents. how many cars have been broken into' how many storage lockers' how many bldgs is this stuff happening in' I have an infant son and I fear for our safety!!!
the staff should be ashamed

Ive been here for a few months now and have not seen any reason to not like this place. Everytime I've had to go to management they have been nothing but polite and professional and not to mention EXTREMELY helpful. Especially Bev. She has been here long enough and knows what sh is doing. The way I see it, you get what you put into it.

I disagree and agree about McKnight Village apartments. I currently reside here and will have to suffer through another lease because I was unable to locate a respectable place before they (the management) came after me to sign another one. Also mentioning that they hoped I would not move. I work full-time and go to school part-time, I mind my own business, and I am always aware of the fact that I live "around" people. When I had the first disturbance from my neighbors when I moved in I remained quiet not wanting to cause any problems. But it kept going on, now let me say that when I viewed the apartment prior to renting I noticed that the previous tenant had moved out of the master bedroom into the smaller bedroom, I live in a two bedroom unit, I questioned that and they said that was not the reason "because of noise" so I trusted in that. I was admamant in saying that I look at my apartment as my home and all I want to to be able to come here after a long day and have some peace. Well, needless to say when I complained about the noise that was keeping me up at night, and not allowing me to even catch up on sleep in the day (i would take a day off just to sleep)the management "suggested" that I move into the smaller room. I was floored when they said that, I mean if I am going to live like I live in a one bedroom then charge me as such. Well, those neighbors moved and I have new ones, same *&^% going on, I refuse to complain anymore, and yes I have moved out of my masterbedroom into the smaller room, but the problem remains the same. I am stressed out, doing poorly in school, my attendence at work is suffering and so is my once happy personality. I want out so bad I am considering breaking my lease. And yes when you talk to management they have this look that they give you like "oh God here she comes" and that will turn anyone off. I would like to know if these reasons alone would allow me to get out of here. I feel trapped. I have spoken with the neighbors and asked nicely if they could please refrain from making so much noise late into the night, like running the dishwasher at 11:30 p.m., making mock screaming noises (yes that is true), but to no avail. Why complain to management when they are not concerned about your satisfaction but only about that rent on the first of the month. I even have another tenant who lives under these individuals and we have talked about the same issue. And this person actually validated my story about the noise before and the noise now. I would prefer to go live in a hotel where at least when someone complains they will do something (i think) But all I will say is that if you care about having peace do not move here. Also, people drive through the parking lot like it is the Indy 500, watch your clothes in the machines, my have been stolen.

**ALERT** Future Tenants be aware that this WAS a Premiere Property until the new leasing manager took over in Sept. 2007. This property has had a steady increase of Police calls for various drug reports as well as indecent behavior including but not limited to minor alcohol consumption on the exterior grounds of the property. All reports from tenants are ignored. I am being retaliated against for my reporting that activity on the property. I have been a renter here for 4 years and am being threatened with eviction for just protecting our property! Last I checked it was my right!
