My guess is that the positive reviews that Pondview received here were all made by the same person!!! I have also lived here for four years and more of the residents that I have talked to have more negative views about Pondview than positive. THAT IS A FACT! I am waiting for my lease to expire so I can get the heck out!
Dumpy, broken down cars sit in the parking lots for months, the underground heated garage has become a storage for many residents' junk (despite the many warnings about not keeping anything but your vehicle in there), kids are always running around wild and unsupervised...We pay more per month to live on the side of the building facing the pond but still have to deal with kids roaming around, playing on our balcony, and causing major disturbances. If you are looking for a nice, quiet peaceful place to live, don't move here.
There are signs posted throughout the building reminding residents to move their vehicles out of the parking lot after a snowfall. So, all of the residents scurry outside by 8AM the next morning to make sure their vehicles are moved so they don't get towed. More often then not, the PARKING LOT DOES NOT END UP BEING PLOWED! I think the plow has been through the parking lot this winter season only two or three times, and how many snowfalls of 2 inches or more have we had'''' MANAGEMENT HAS POLICIES THAT THEY DON'T EVEN FOLLOW. However, residents realize that if they don't follow the snow plow policy and if they fail to move their vehicle, THAT'LL BE THE TIME THAT PONDVIEW DECIDES TO ENFORCE THE POLICY AND WILL HAVE VEHICLES TOWED!!! I saw that happen last winter...
Bottom line -- find somewhere else to live.
