Down the toilet overnight! From: flakey1972@yahoo.com Date posted: 3/5/2004 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2004   This used to be such an awesome place to live, where you felt like home and the management really cared about you and bothered to know your name. There used to be regular community parties and management even knew every residents birthday and would leave a card and balloons at your door. The concierge would post a huge, detailed calendar of events every month and come up with so many creative ideas. Everyone in the office was just so nice and happy all the time, and made you feel at home. I miss them so much!!! But since Galtier got bought by some big corporate "genius" in the summer of 2003, the place has deteriorated fast. All these great people, who had worked there for years and years, were GONE overnight. It's like a bad dream. The new management couldn't care less about the residents; you can just feel the apathy and how much they hate their jobs. They have such a hostile attitude and are completely untrustworthy. Watch your wallet if you dare rent here! Theyve added all kinds of nickel-and-dime charges and penalties and are jacking up the prices. Meanwhile, while they spend big bucks remodeling their offices (which were perfectly fine anyway, and sunny), the resident common facilities are falling apart. The elevators and laundry machines are always breaking down; the doors to the underground parking malfunction, trapping vehicles inside. Plus now the've suddenly started towing cars from the driveway without warning (our friends had always parked in the same spot for years) and it costs more than $200.00 to get your car back. It's just a big sloppy mess and nobody cares! It's so sad! If you really love the building and location then you might consider this place, but soon enough you'll get very disappointed and angry and feel trapped. I can't wait to get out of here!!! The place has such a bad atmosphere. Rent at your own risk!
