Personally I think the new management staff is a lot nicer then the old one. The last concierge was a --- jerk and the head manager ladys were snotty bitches. The new management team is sharp, young and friendly. I think these other reviewers are crying becuase they cant to have their stupid tea parties anymore.
My rent only went up $5 last year, and they have been putting in new stoves and fridges, putting in an exercise room and remodeling the lobby (which, granted, is a mess right now). Downside is s-l-o-o-w elevators that break down every couple weeks, and some kind of air pressure problem in the building so whenever somebody closes their door if they dont shut it gently it sounds like a gun going off on the whole floor. Not good if you work odd hours and need sleep, lots of door slammers including security and maintenence when they come out the stairwell doors (loudest of them all). Parking lot is oversubscribed they allow public parking in there during the day - no spots. Basically ok,, but im going elsewhere in the spring too, not worth the money.
