Great place From: tgustafson85 Date posted: 7/31/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I was so excited when I finally got to move here. Out of everywhere I've been, this is definitely the nicest luxury apartment complex in the Twin Cities. Everything is brand new! The recent addition of the swimming pool is a blessing, the staff (particularly Shauna) are great, and the location is convenient. However, I can't give them a perfect score on all counts. The place is pretty quiet, but I do have to ding them when it comes to noise because the doors have a tendency to slam very loudly, particularly the stairway doors. ALMOST everything is well lit. Unfortunately, the swimming pool has been pitch-black at night. It used to be lit up the first few weeks the pool was open, but for some reason hasn't been working. These lights should be on for simple safety reasons. As far as safety is concerned, I feel very safe, as there is security patrolling the building and controlled-access. All-in-all, a great place to live with gorgeous views! Not to mention that Jackson Tower is the tallest residential structure in the state of Minnesota.
