not worth the price, too expensive for a dorm

They are the nicest people once they get you in there and then they change. Most of the workers/management have nasty attitudes including the maint. men. Sometimes they act like they are bothered to help you with anything.
They complain to do anything for your apt. too and they leave your place in a mess when they are done and are rude to you also.
Some people there think it's a dorm room with several people per apartment and parties often. The walls are so thin you can even hear your neighbors snore and what's on their TV.
The apartments would be ok for a lower price but for the price they rent it's not worth it. Go get a townhome for this amount with central heat/AC as this place does not have it. Needs consistent, more friendly workers.
The location is a pain to leave from as the road is very busy.

Horrible living! I got ROBBED twice living here for ONE YEAR! Not to mention a ton of other neighbors reported similar robberies! I even spoke with someone who lived there 3 years ago and the same type of robbery happened to him!
Horrible management, when I got robbed, they promised to help me on the case. They sent me three "official" letters saying they are sorry they can not do anything for me because I didn't provide them a police report. The case is unclosed and I can not get this - i have been ignored for three weeks with a "we will call you in 15 minutes" with no response.
No AC in the living rooms! Bedrooms only... it gets to a blistering 80-90 degrees during summer. HORRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS!
Do not live here... across the street there are townhomes for $100 more per month.

Ok. The comment about the maintence men isnt true! I've had them fix many things in my apartment when I lived there just last year! They were exteremely friendly-and NEVER left a mess! Yes, the management always called back, the same-or next day. It depends on your attitude towards them-ya if your being mean to them of course they arnt going to hurry to help you- I wouldnt! About the robberies! Thats because there was people leaving the secured garage doors open-leaving them not so secure at all! Then kids broke into cars. BUT there has never been any other problems than that! The walls are thin, and unless your neighbors have their TV's as high as they go-you can hear it. You can hear a little tiny noise sometimes but you cant hear it exactly, and its not even big enough to be a disturbance. When that robber thing happened I was one of those people! I handed in a police report-WHICH MANAGEMENT SAID WAS MANDATORY IF YOU WANTED THEIR HELP(so the other guy has nothing to complain about-they cleary said they needed a police report!) The management helped me and was very friendly! Yes music can get a little loud, but it dies down at 9. I enjoyed living here a lot!

I lived at White bear woods for 5 years and hated it!!! They are nice for the first year and after that they are horrible to work with! I got a 3 bedroom townhouse for cheaper than a 2 bedroom at white bear woods with a pool and golf course. The crime rate is very high at least 70% of people have had their car broken into and its becasue they have security cameras that are broken not becasue people leave the garage open and for the fact that 20$ of the people living there are crimnals themselves. They say they check your background but you would be surprised to find out they only check to see if your a sex offender not a career criminal. I complained 15 times about my neighbor before the police took him away and finally evicted him. They also are charging residnets $20-$30 dollars more for water and trash and its becasue they have construction costs they want you to pay for. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM HERE.
