Breaking in has become a regular feature here. The apartment has 4 buildings and each building has in-door parking which is totally unsafe. Inspite of 2 survelliance cameras the break-in's are happening frequently. The management is unable to trace the identity of the person involved. They also know that robbery is a regular feature in the apt, so they send notices to be safe instead of taking measures to prevent it. The rent is obnoxiously too high and i doubt if they even do a proper background check of the residents. With this increasing theft next i guess it will be a danger to life and still the mgt will have no solution. Management is taking steps to improve things around but they should also be careful of the kind of people they are renting the apartments to. Beware of this place.

You have to be friends of her! I, nor ANY of the 11 apartments that surround me think she is a very logical nice woman! You obviously just moved in. I have had several problems with staff being in my aparment for non-emergency reasons without any given notice! I have had problems with people parking in my gargage parking space and management telling me there is nothing they can do about it. I have had my apartment broken into and now they want me to replace the glass that was broken from some stranger who came in through the patio. The rent is EXTREMELY HIGH! Stay Away!

I was worried that this place had apartments broken into all the time after reading the above posting but I called the White Bear Lake police dept. and they said that there has NEVER been an apartment break-in at White Bear Woods. Unfortunately, some people like to lie, they must have been kicked out to make a false comment like that. We have had a better experience at White Bear Woods than at any other complex that we have lived at. We live on the 2nd floor in a dog building and we have never heard loud dog barking or lots of noise from the upstairs neighbors. I know that occassionally cars are broken into, last year the police actually caught someone in the act in my building. But the office always reminds people to not leave valuables in their cars and recodes the garage immediately. However, people continue to leave electronics in their cars and make the entire garage a target. They will only break in if you have something worth stealing!

My car was broken into and nothing was stolen. I didn't leave anything valuable in my car. I still have to pay for a new window and clean up the mess they left. The problem is with the apartment management, not with the tenants. You should expect your car is safe in an underground garage.
