I moved in the later part of 2006 and since I have moved in I have been repeatedly ignored by management for whatever reason to get anything done. I asked for a copy of my lease and they said they didn't have to. It was alright at first, but now you never know who you are going to see in the office and chances are who ever it is has their head up their ass. The only time I can anything done is when I catch the maintenance man and ask him to do something for me. I choose not to post my name because I still live in this nightmare and don't feel like making it living hell. If they didn't rape you for trying to break your lease I would have left months ago. Take or leave this advice, but think about it before you sign away any happiness on their 12 month lease.

I've lived her for 3 years and I disagree with the above review. The owners are very nice and take good care of me. I rented a large beautiful apartment that was neat and clean when I moved in and I was given a copy of my lease when I moved in and I still have it. I can see from the above review that these people are just unhappy people because they are trying to break their lease and are trying to retaliate. I know the people in my building and the people in m building are happy they rented here and the owners and maintenance people take good care of all of us. Just because you are trying to do something illegal and break your lease and the law says you cannot break your lease, don't take it out on good hardworking people please! Nancy S.

I do not live there personally (I am frequently a guest), but know people who either work there, have worked there, or are current tennants. (I would be more than happy to disclose the employee or tennants names if I felt secure that management would not retaliate against them.) The complaints about management being unethical seems to be a reocccurring complaint. From my point of view, the maintenance men are the best thing about this organization. I have seen/heard of maintenance going above and beyond for the tennants - using their own personal supplies to make repairs when they could not get the materials needed from management. I also have seen some of the nasty notes left behind in the apartments when the property manager did not have permission to enter the apartment from the tennant. I also know of a tennant who is going out of his way to catch and prove illegal entries (by management) by using a surviellance camera and possibly installing an alarm system. I have also "heard" of tennants being without use of water for a day or so at a time - management retaliation?? Eviction are sometimes used by management as retaliation, but management does not go thru the proper legal channels. They tell tennants they have to be out by the end of the weekend, when management has not gone thru the proper legal channels to evict (i.e. court system). I believe that anyone doing any real investigation of these issues would find that what I have said is true. Check it out yourself!

Property manager Anne keeps flagging and having my reviews removed. If you want to read some more about how terrible Wayzata Lake Apt. and Lindahl Properties is go to apartmentreviews.net, bbb.org, or call the attorney generals office.
