Recently there were a couple of break-ins in the garages where cars were vandalized. A notice was posted that said, in part, the residents should be aware of strangers and get to know who lives here. They also said the residents should make sure the service doors close. If Westview wants us to take on part of the responsibility then they need to also. The service door takes approx. one minute to close, Westview could decrease the amount of time. Westview needs to ensure the entrance doors are working properly. As another commenter said these doors have not been repaired so they will work properly at all times. Another safety feature for the doors would be to add a metal strip to the outside of the entrance doors so they cannot be pried open.
In response to a commenters take on plowing, our parking lot does not get plowed after each snowfall. The lot ends up dangerously icy.
Another issue is that residents cannot always park in the lot due to visitors, particularly in the summer. There is a sign posted as you turn in to the driveway that says something like REsident Parking only, violaters will be towed - towing never happens as this situation is not monitored.
I would not recommend living at Westview.
