When I first came to White bear manor to tour the apartments, the apartment manager Andrea left me waiting for an half an hour even though we had set up an appointment. The apartment was in shambles but i was promised it would be finished up by the time I moved in. At the time I was strapped for cash and the apartment was runnig a 2 month free special on new leases, so I jumped at the chance at living 2 months rent free. I gave my security deposit that day which was over 3 weeks from my move in date. Then I find out that they want to charge me for the extra day i wanted to use at the end of the month to move my stuff in. That was a first for me. When the move date came, the apartment was still a wreck. Didn't even look like they did anything for the 3 weeks they had to repair the apartment. And quite frankly, this isn't even the worst of it. The apartment manager is the laziest apartment manager I have had in the 6 different complex's I've lived at even though she would be lucky to put in 25 hours a week. The ceilings are paper thin and if you happen to live downstairs of a family of overwieght people like I do, you're in for a lot of loud footsteps. it seriously sounds like I live below Horton and the rest of the elephants. The laundry room recently flooded and wasn't cleaned up for 4 days while the apartment building smelled like something died inside of it. Unless you're very strapped for cash like I was when I first moved in and they are giving away the 2 months rent free, i would stay away from this place like the plague. You will regret it.
