From a distance, the Grand Reserve is quite appealing. It is in a very nice town with rather posh surroundings, but the Grand Reserve definitely does not add to the "poshness" of the community. When you get there, you notice the the upkeep of the property is mediocre at best. The hedges are not kept well, and the grass leaves something to be desired. The outside of the buildings are pretty good though. Inside the apartments, the build quality is sufficient for a rental property, but not up to my personal standards.....good luck finding a stud in the wall!

The neighborhood is pleasant, but there it has its share of riff raff. Car break-ins are the latest nuisance to the property, and I am about fed up with fireworks for the year. I have not had any specific issues with any of the residents (in fact I find most of them to be very friendly), but my next door neighbors definitely freak me out.

The management at the property is very friendly for the most part. I can't say that I have run into any issues that haven't been resolved in a fair manner. The only complaint that I would have about some of those that work in the office is that they seem a bit apathetic towards their jobs sometimes.

Overall, I feel that this place is way overpriced considering I could have a very decent mortgage on a nice house for what I pay in rent. The sign on the entrance to the property describes "luxury apartments" and I would say that is quite an exaggeration. For the money, you could do better. Remove that flaw, and the Grand Reserve becomes a decent place to live while you are looking for more permanent living quarters.
