Overall, very nice, but the location hurts

We enjoyed our two-year stay, with wonderful management and good neighbors. The only drawbacks we noticed were the highway noise from the constantly-under-construction Interstate 55, with the irony that you actually have to drive a mile and a half (we measured) to GET ON the highway, but the noise is only about 400 feet away. It isn't very LOUD...it's just THERE. On the other hand, because the surrounding area is so woody, we loved the fresh air every night at sunset, when the traffic died down. The positives are many: Very nicely appointed homes; well-manicured grounds; nice wading pool (it's very small); and plenty of parking. At our building, it took exactly 60 steps to go from our front door to our best parking spot, but that may have been a problem just with our building. We loved the small patio with our apartment, and the maintenance staff was very helpful. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
