I lived here for only about 2 months, and in that period of time my girlfriend and I got yelled at multiple times for walking up the stairs too loudly in the middle of the day. First time was because of family members going to the pool around 5pm. The next time we got yelled at was at 2pm after returning from work. After the property manager's boyfriend/husband yelled at us, we asked their neighbor if we were walking loudly and she said no. We never received any written complaints against us before receiving a letter of "Termination of Tenancy." Just because we lived above the Property Manager she was able to terminate our tenancy and if we didn't get out within 10 days then we would be evicted.

We tried to contact any person that had more authority than the property manager and they refused to take our phone calls. So if you do have a problem and the property manager decides to kick you out for a dumb reason you will not be able to talk to anyone in the Michelson Organization to try to prevent it.

On top of that, the walls are paper-thin, we could hear our neighbors yelling and having parties next to us. If anyone is talking outside of the apartment, whether its the 1st floor and you're on the 3rd floor, you can hear practically everything they say.

Spiders are horrible here too. I don't know how many I've seen crawl out of the drains, or just show up on the walls. Wasps fly around the top floor and seem to end up inside the apartment also.

Maintenance is very slow too. When we moved in the garbage disposal never worked so anytime we used the dishwasher it would back up into the sink and we used a toilet plunger for the sink for 2 and a 1/2 weeks before they finally ordered the garbage disposal and installed it.

The Landscaping is absolutely horrible. The grass around the apartment is muddy and floods anytime that it rains, it looks like someone went four wheeling in the yard. I accidentally stepped off the sidewalk and slid across the grass and got covered in mud.

The laundry room isn't all that great either, one of our washers in our unit would eat your quarters on a regular basis, the other one would eat 1 out of 3 quarters. The dryers take about 45 minutes (75 cents) to dry regular clothes and and hour for jeans. The dryers in the clubhouse never worked, you would be lucky if you could dry anything with them.

The swimming pool was always dirty and cloudy. Filled with bugs, leaves, and other debris. The water volleyball net was ripped and had multiple holes in it.

Parking was horrible also. If I wanted a good parking place I guess paying for a carport would've been the only way to go. Every night after coming home from work I would have to park on the opposite side of the parking lot and walk twice as far as everyone else.

All around I can say that being kicked out of this crappy apartment isn't such a bad thing, its a blessing in disguise. I will be fighting this with my lawyer just because I feel that being kicked out for walking loudly up the stairs in the afternoon is definitely a dumb reason to be kicked out. But until I can do that I hope that I can advise anyone that wants to rent from this place to think again. The cheap rent prices are not worth the headache you will have living there! If I were you I would contact the Fair housing of St Louis and also call the St. Louis Apartment Assoc and they can help you out too. That is discriminating and I know for a fact that it happens a lot from the property manager. Do not let them get away with this. Stand up for yourself!!!! Good Luck, I am rooting for you!!
