OK, so I have to say we are not the complaining type; I write what I write only because nobody deserves to be blindsided like this. Let me tell you, for starters we have lived here a little over a year; we are building a house and it wouldn't have been worth the move for 6 more months. I have read down the list of reviews and I am actually astonished that ANYONE has reviewed this place positivly. I know all my neighbors but one in my building, most of them in the next and not a single one of them would reccommend this place. So you may ask, why do people stay ... the answers are simple..school district and apartment size. Our district is very good, and for the size these places appear to be a good value.

So here's the meat of it; customer service and maintainence. The places are old. You could film a seventies movie in any of them (except the model they show you). They have a lot of issues. We have had more than you could count; leaks, plumbing, plaster you name it. This is no surprise you have to know you are moving into an older apartment; the distressing part is trying to get someone to respond to you. First, you will get a cheerful person in the office, who will take a message. They tell you they will take care of it. No one comes; you will do this a bunch of times. The girls in the office will blame maintainence, when maintenence finally shows they will blame the office. They will also tell you how cheap the owner is, and how they will never cough up to do any repairs. I'm sorry to say this, but even if the owners ponied up some money, the people they hire to do the maintianence are wholey not qualified to do it. Honestly, they have broken more than they have fixed in this apartment. OK there's my rant....I will close with a list of lies they will tell you here:
1. Only 2 cars are permitted with stickers. In my lot there are actually 3 cars I have to assume are abandoned. This is based on the lack of parts and license plates. (sadly the maintence manager lives in the building next to me and says nothing)
2. When they show you the model, they will tell you the finishes may differ. That is actually a half truth, they will differ by decades. When I saw the model I was surprised how dated it looked, it's the newest looking place in the joint.
3. We are customer focused - We were concerned about this when we moved in, they assured us it was ok, obviously its not. I hate being this negitive but these people just downright lie.
4. Only 2 resident per bedroom - Huge Huge lie! There are 8 to 10 people living in at least 2 different 2 bedroom apartments. This has been brought up to mamagement, and they really don't care as long as the checks are coming regularly.
5. These are the average utility rates (they hand you a chart). I'm pretty sure they based the gas prices on the last time they updated the interiors of the apartments.
6. People must clean up after their pets - dont take my word for it drive around, look by the dumpsters and wherever there is open ground.
7. The place is landscaped - My wife and I actually laugh about this. There's a lot of kids running on where there should be grass by my house, so there actually is no grass. Not really a big deal, except they mow the dirt'
8. 4 Pools - OK there are 4 tiny pools and 3000 residents (at least 1000 of which are kids)
Each pool can acomodate about 65 people (maybe), you do the math on a hot day. Not to mention the younger people bring beer and leave broken bottles so we have gotten a membership to a ballwin pool this year.

Alright that's about it. Please notice that someone from the complex will probably reply. They will pretend to be a concerned resident...please...if you are the person the office has do this, STOP......pick up the phone, answer someone's call, solve someone's problem.
