I wish I had found this site before renting from Orchard Village. 36% of the residents recommend this apartment, according to the summary, and I think that is being generous. When touring the apartments before renting, the staff will say and promise anything, but it is never followed up by action. For example, we were told the fitness center would be 24 hours, but now they say it never will be. They told us we could do a walk-through before signing the lease, but that couldn't be arranged. They said they would fix any items we noticed that were broken when we moved in. Several months and several requests to the office later NONE of the items have been repaired. The basement had a small leak that was accumulating on the floor and spreading to the storage areas. It took three weeks for them to even look at this, and some individuals belongings were ruined because of the water. We were told this was a fairly quiet complex, yet I can't leave my windows open at night due to the noise: cars racing down the street, people yelling at each other, etc. The two street lamps in front of our building have not worked since we moved in (we've reported this to the office numerous times as well.)I usually like to counter negative criticism with the positive, but I can not find a good thing to say about this place. My recommendation: STAY AWAY!

We have also just moved into the complex and have experienced many similar problems such as; when we moved in they said we would be able to do a walk through but they didn't have enough time, there were so many broken things that still haven't been fixed, there were flees in our place and we went to the club house and told them (and showed them our bites) it still took them over a week for them to get an exterminator, we asked them if they had shampooed our carpets because I had vacuumed up a ton of dog hair but of course they said they did, but when the exterminator came he said there was no way they had been shampooed, our shower head is falling out of the wall and mold is accumulating, when we moved in they told us that we would be able to receive cable in the bedrooms and the living room but when the cable guy came the wire had been cut in the master bedroom they basically told us that if we want that fixed we will have to contact the cable company (even though it's amenity), we also hear cars racing like at 3am, we also have had leaking in our living room. They sure do know how to fool a person when you first take the tour but after you sign the lease it's a nightmare!!!!
