Brown Recluse Spiders

I lived at Prospect Creek a few years ago, for a year. A few months after I moved in my friend and I were watching TV and there was a huge spider on the wall(I am terrified of spiders). We tried to kill it, however it escaped.
The day I saw the spider I had just started a Zoology class at STLCC. For some reason my professor started the class by talking about Brown Recluse spiders-I had never heard of them, but was glad I did. Before the thing eluded capture we tried to get close enough to see it. I swore it was a brown recluse. I went to the office the next day, called an exterminator that came and set glue traps to try and catch them and sprayed.
The traps didn't work, never caught one. But I managed to collect over 50 of them with spider spray I carried around the house at all times and put them in a plastic bowl with a lid, and kept it. After months and months of arguing with the management office, and refusing to sleep at home. I decided to take the bowl of spiders to my Zoology professor.
After looking at me in shock/horror he said they were indeed brown recluse and to be extremely careful. At the same time I sent a few of the spiders to father in another bowl, because he never believe me either. He took the spiders to an exterminator in my hometown.
The next day my father called the managment office and said if the problem was not taken care of and something were to happen to me, 'he would own the apartment complex'...sort of funny but this had been over six months!!!
For the next few days I stayed in a hotel complements of management while they bombed the apartment. When I came home there were dead spiders everywhere, all over the floors and in the light fixtures. Turns out there was a nest in my apartment.
So uncomfortable living there I decided to move to an upstairs loft unit that was vacant in the same building.
I lived there until my lease expired, we still ran across a brown recluse every once in a while, but no where near as many as the first apartment.
I can say, I will never even think of recommending this place to someone and if you have children I would strongly recommend you stay away.
