Hopefully this place is better than when it used to be called Mark Twain.

Years at this apartment: 1994 - 1994
My brother and I shared an apartment for one year here in the early 90's. It was called Mark Twain at the time. We were given a $40 per month reduction on our rent in return for them not having to replace the outdated and worn out "70's green" carpet that was still in our unit. When we moved out at the end of the lease, this complex actually tried to sue us for over $2000 in order to pay for the carpet needing to be replaced. Without getting too detailed, the judge determined that the suit was frivolous and not only dismissed the suit, but ordered our security deposit to be returned.
As far as the apartment itself, other than the carpet fiasco, the only negative issues that come to mind are the recurring leaky dishwasher that soaked the kitchen carpet on multiple occasions, and the smell of laundry detergent filling the apartment everytime the washer in the basement was in use.
