I have not lived here, so please know that this is based solely on my opinion after walking the grounds and seeing the unit. The first thing I noticed was that the grounds were in a state of disrepair. There were children's toys scattered about and weeds growing without much grass. Cracks and potholes lined the pavement. Walking past one of the buildings, the smell of marijuana was evident. This was dismissed by the agent who walked me through as something unusual, and it did not seem to be a concern.

The display unit was decent. The included washer / dryer was comical. I almost laughed when I first saw it. The washer is almost normal sized, and the dryer probably wouldn't hold the contents of a large shoebox. I can say with honesty that if that was my home, I would be looking for a laundromat. Still, if you do not mind the lack of exterior lighting, or the smell and use of drugs, this unit may be okay for you. I insisted on seeing the building of the unit I would be moved into, and was further turned off. The common area of the building had the smell of a smoking hotel room. Please note: It did not smell like the common area of a smoking floor at a hotel -- it smelled like being in the actual room.

After all this, I was able to pass on this property. The reason I am posting this is because the traffic in Winchester / Ballwin / Manchester is not pleasant, and I don't want anyone to waste time. If I had to pick out a target audience for this property, I would say male roommates, smokers, and not afraid of (and won't suffer any repercussions of) being around drug use. If this doesn't sound like you, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

This is hysterical to me because I do live here and YOU hit it dead on!! I just wonder where was my mind the day I came walking through for my tour??? The drug use... HA.. try living on the third floor and the users are on the first. The smoke creeps its way to the top and there are times I begin asking myself, "am I getting a contact high?"
