What drew my boyfriend and I to this apartment was the cheap rent, being first time renters we were looking for a good deal. We came and had a tour and the manager talked it all up saying it was family oriented and a safe environment. She also talked up the rehab renovations. The apartments are very large but has poor lighting. About a week after we moved in we were ready to move out. The apartments seem more like a motel than a home, they are infested with roaches and the management do nothing about it even though THEY SAY it is sprayed once a month but it has never been sprayed. When we first moved in there were a few things wrong with our apartment and they promised they would be fixed...but 3 months later nothing has been fixed. People have punched and kicked holes in the walls by the entrance to the buildings and there are always empty beer cans in the hallways. They state that this is a Crime Free Rental Housing but how can that be when the police are here about every single night' The trash compactor is always full it is very had to get our trash in there. It also seems like every month they have these "inspections" where they have to come into the apartments, which with the management staff we have...i dont feel safe about them being in the apartment. A girl two doors down from us recently moved out because there was a meth lab downstairs (where the police were at constantly) and she told management and they did nothing about it and she also got fed up with the constant smell of pot from the apartment next to her. It has only been three months and we are already looking for another place to move.
