Baxter Crossings is under new management. The property used to be managed by Fogleman and I loved it but now it is under the management of a small company calling themselves Baxter Crossings Management. This company seems to have managed smaller 4-family units but never a property of this size. As a result of their takeover the property is being painted a horrible brown/tan color scheme, the pool and hot tub are no longer open year-round, there is rumor of them removing the weight room due to liability reasons, and on top of that the staff is rude and has no respect for pre-existing leases or tenants. I would recommend Westmont Apartments (right across the street) for the exact same apartment layouts at a cheaper price. They are still owned by Fogleman and they just enderwent a multi-million dollar makeover. By the way I am not a former employee but I do miss all of my favorite office people who lost their jobs in the takeover.

I agree with you. I have lived in this community for awhile now and it is apparent that the new owners are way over their head with this large property. Chesterfield is an affluent area and this apartment complex now seems out of touch with the area and its sophisticated population. The new management needs to understand this is not St. Charles. Furthermore, in no way should these apartments be considered luxury apartments. If you do not believe me come take a look one of the units. When viewing the property ask to view an actual unit and not the display. The display models are not what you are getting. Renter's be warned!

Humm... this sounds like a Westmont Employee to me! Make your money sister! I live at Baxter and love it and even went in and introduced myself to the new management whom was very nice and welcoming to suggestions. Buying and selling is a part of this economy and it was your lovely Fogelman managent group that decided to sell so why is everyone dissing on the new management! I asked a little about them and they own about 20 properties. These people aren't new. You people don't like change! Get used to it or buy a flipping house! When they ask you to start cutting the flippin grass then you can -----. Until then, get off this ----- forum and get a hobby!!

Hmmm...the last response sounds like a member of the new management company. The typical trash that now inhabits the office. BTW, the new company is called Midwest Diversified. They also own low-end properties in O'fallon and St. Charles area. Move to Westmont. Fogleman is the BEST!

Fogelman did not sell Baxter Crossings as it was not theirs to sell. They managed it for a fee. The property was owned by Northwest Mutual and they decided to sell it. Most of the the properties owned by Midwest Diversified are, indeed, lower end properties or those that are in decline.
