We've lived in a 1 bed 1.5 bath townhouse at Peachtree for almost 2 years now. We really like it here. It has a great park-like setting, easy access to shopping and HWY 40. Yes, the appliances are out-dated...although we have a relatively new microwave and dishwasher, our fridge has broken several times but they've always fixed it quickly. The stove is outdated but works just fine. We have the same problem with heating/cooling as others have stated - yes, it's poor planning to have the thermostat where it is, but not current management or maintenance's fault. I'm just happy it's a programmable thermostat or it would be much worse! We just adjust with fans in the summer and small heater in the winter. We've made it work and don't mind it now.

I think for what we pay we get a nice, slightly older apartment with plenty of space, attentive and respectful maintenance/management and a great location. The fitness center is perfect for us and we use it almost daily, the grounds are well manicured and overall the community is very quiet. We plan to stay here for another 3-4 years while saving for a house.
