Although the price and location may be attractive, the management is unresponsive to tenant complaints. I've had multiple water problems, yet management is unwilling to replace my already old and worn carpet. It took them more than a week each time to get a carpet cleaning crew in to clean up their mess -- during that time the apartment was unlivable due to the smell, so I had to live with friends.

I also had an incident where the basement storage area was left unsecured for months leading to several thefts from secured storage lockers. Management didn't feel the need to inform tenants affected by the break-in that their belongings in the storage area were unsecured. The items that were not stolen were in an open storage locker for about three weeks before I discovered that there had be a break-in. Management was not sympathetic, in fact, they took down a notice I left for my neighbors informing them of the break-in.

They offered to let me out of my lease after I complained recently, but due to my job situation, I can't afford to move. I am a patient person, but the Village Green management knows how to frustrate and anger you. If you're looking for a trouble free place to live, this is not it.
