Property is supposed to be classy in Chesterfield right' WRONG. Westmont is horrible. Maintenance must be called at least 4 or 5 times to get anything fixed and when they do come weeks later their repairs are sub par and often need to be fixed again. Management is unorganized and unresponsive. Having a formal meeting w/ management didn't even fix my problems. I have roaches and other bugs as well and Westmont seems unconcerned about it. I am a young professional ready to buy next year so this is my last apartment complex and I'm so glad. I have lived in two other complexes and this is by far the most unimpressive. They talk a good game on the tour but do they follow through on the promise' Absolutely not.

I have to agree with this anonymous poster as far as the maintenance goes. The guys do *decent* work, but often times it's not fixed correctly the first time. Perhaps it's the low budget that the office is dealing with and not the maintenance necessarily. The parts seem kinda cheap. My front door knob was replaced with a very cheap INTERIOR knob. You're not supposed to do that! They make interior and exterior knobs for a reason. Jeez. They do arrive within 48 hours (in all my cases) but things are fixed improperly. The remedy is sorta "country-rigged" or whatever you want to call it. The maintenance guys are cool as hell, but maybe they should spend a bit more time addressing the problem instead of trying to "get in and out" of there. As far as the management goes, they're tough gals. I would agree with the previous post and say management is unresponsive. Well, unresponsive once you ask them more than twice to remedy a problem. They kinda get frustrated when you keep asking them to resolve a problem in the complex that they have responsibility for. For example, my upstairs neighbors are young people and they always have parties. The first few complaints to Westmont seemed to work, but the kids would start back up just a couple of weeks after the warning. I'm the only one that can hear the noise so the office doesn't receive calls from anyone else. They were so tired of me asking them to do something that they said "That's not our problem, if someone's making noise, call the police." Maybe it's their problem, and maybe it's not, but I honestly felt like they were telling me "...We don't feel like dealing with this! Call the police. Not us." So anyway...I just felt that they get mad and frustrated with residents that voice legitimate complaints. If you move here, don't call more than twice regarding the same thing. Otherwise, you should be fine.

I too met w/ management face to face on numerous occasions because of the issues I was having. Nothing changed, I heard promises of change during the meeting but afterward it was like the meeting never took place, no follow through or responsibility taken by the unorganized and unfriendly staff.
