My experience while living there was pretty good. I don't have the complains that many people had. There was squeaky floors, it is pretty old.

My complaint is after leaving. It took over 60 days to get my security deposit back, and that's after fighting and questioning. They took out money for cleaning as specific as the "door tracts" on the porch. I didn't wipe it with a wet cloth, even though it was not clean when we got it.

Keep records of everything. They said they didn't recieve my forwarding address until over 45 days after moving out. In fact, we turned in the sheet to Verna, and she wrote it on my move out form. I saw her write it down.

My best recommendation, be picky when you fill out your sheet as you move in. They aren't affraid to charge you for cleaning the "storm windows" either, so clean or take pictures as to what it was like when you move in and out.

I was pretty happy living there. There were spiders and some bugs, but nothing too bad. Verna was nice to us. There are lots of international students and folks living here, all of which were very nice. However, I strongly doubt they get any security deposit back which is sad, since I had to work and work to get it.
