I lived in Ashwood for the 04-05 school year. Overall, I was impressed. The location is a 3 minute walk from Schurz, so it's practically on-campus. We had a nice deck that backed to thick woods. Our neighbors were all respectful and quiet.

If I had to say some negatives, I'd say that the price of $625 was a little bit higher compared to Tara at around $450. Also, maintainance wasn't always the quickest to come out, but were very friendly when they did. One of my neighbors really didn't like the Manager, but I found her to be helpful and reasonable. Also, they are very uptight about parking being so close to campus, but they added more visitor parking spots. If you don't have a parking pass for Ashwood, be prepared to be towed within 12 hours; they have a deal with Tiger Towing and the company can just tow at any time without having to ask.

I'm moving out because I wanted to live with two other people and needed a bigger place.
