Irritating place to live. Nice location.

The short version: sucky internet, great location, leaky windows, nice maintenance guy, inept staff, bad A/C, nasty carpet and they tow cars like its going out of style (it is).

The longer version: I lived there for 2 years. Its not horrible but not great. I tend to think we got a lemon, but you could get a lemon too. Here's a handy Ashwood guide:

* Make sure they replace the carpet. The places with brown/red carpet still exist and they are NASSSTY. (P.S. you must hire a "professional" carpet cleaner and present the receipt at the end, hopefully they replace the carpet anyways)
* Their internet is useless. Absolutely useless. Even if they remember to keep your username and password in the system, it is useless. I cannot really say useless enough. Think slower than dialup when it feels like working.
* Their A/C pretty much sucks in the summer. Make sure to ask about it. I was in unit 1101 and it would get near 80 inside on hot days with the A/C running full tilt. Talk about a money drain.
* Their windows SUCK. Mine leaked during heavy rain. Par for the rental course, me thinks.
* A side note, we found out that the safety breakers in the bathroom power outlets didn't work. So if you value your life, double check these.
* Steve is the maintenance guy, and he's a pretty good guy.
* The office workers are basically inept. They've forgotten they've received and cashed several rent checks (hooray for image checking!).
* They are towing ----'s but I think that has slowed down a little recently once they realized that tenants didn't like their friends being towed after 10 minutes. Could resume though, beware.
* If it wasn't for their proximity to campus, it would cost 450 a month to rent there. The proximity is awesome though.
