I lived in Broadway Village for a year. I loved it! It was clean, quiet, cable and internet were included, and it was close to work. The only problem I had, though, was horrible. I lived on the first floor with my apartment in front, facing the street. Late one night, I got a knock on the door. I looked through the peephole and thought it was probably my neighbor. I answered the door, and it wasn't her. She asked me if "Charlotte" was in. As I said no, a man came around from behind the wall with a gun pointed at me. He then proceeded to force me to give him my money and my cell phone. It was traumatizing. The police were not helpful, and the manager would not allow me to install a chain on the door because it would be a problem for single people living alone in emergencies (even though chains can easily be cut with a chain cutter.) That was only one night in the whole year I lived there, and except for that, I had a great experience. The pool was nice, the landscapingwas great, and the apartment was large with great amenities.
