The day I moved in, the toilet seat and shower rods were missing. The towel bars were broken and hanging. The floor hadn?t even been vaccuumed from the last person (aren?t these places are supposed to be fresh and clean before new tenants move in'!) It looked really ghetto. It took Management weeks to replace the broken and missing items. The walls are mega thin -- I could hear the neighbor in the room above mine having sex and I could actually hear them going to the bathroom!
If you have a problem with roommates or neighbors, dont bother complaining to the office as they will ask you to "put it in writing" and then when you do, they conveniently lose it and nothing is done.
The apartments are expensive for what you get. You get broken, stained, uncomfortable furniture. I found a pair of dirty underwear under the dirty, stained mattress in my room from previous tenants. The mattress itself looked like it had been puked on and/or urinated on, it had so many stains.
I never once used the pool or hot tub because it is well known that people frequently have sex, drink, urinate, and yes, vomit in them.
Having your own lease is nice but if a roommate moves out, you risk getting matched up with some people exactly your opposite, as I did.
This place is like living in a fraternity house. If youre into that kind of living, then this is your place, but otherwise I NEVER recommend this place to anyone! I still cant believe I paid as much as I did.
