I have lived at Campus View for over three years now and can tell you that this is the worst place to live! First, the management here will not give a hoot about you if you have severe problems (basically as long as you are paying your rent, they don't care about anything else). Second, they allow every form of riff-raff in this place. You will definitally have people that live above you, below you, and beside you that: blare loud music at inappropriate hours, drink incessantly, use drugs, and even discharge firearms (yes this has happened at least four times since I've lived here). The only part of the experience that has not been, well, hell, has been the fact that the maintenance staff is friendly, but who cares' Last year, we even had someone break into our apartment. The rent may seem enticing because it is so cheap, but TRUST me you will pay for it well in many other ways. My advise to anyone moving to Columbia is to find friends fast that you feel you will get along with and find a duplex or small townhome to rent out.
