I stayed here my freshman year and thought it would be cool to be off campus, but this place is super bogus! It's very ragedy. First off, I moved in not even having a chair for my desk and when I asked for a chair the maintenence brought me some kind of rocking chair that looked completely different from my roommates'. The walls in my room and all over the apartment are cracked in some places like the place is about to split in two. We had an older microwave but it was coming off the hinges (Literally hanging and bolted in on only 2 sides). Our washer is super old and is accompanied by a new dryer. The fan in the living room scares me because it looks like it is about to fall any second. What's worse is that when I came down to Columbia for my freshman summer welcome, I visited Campus View to see where I would stay. The apartment they showed me is nothing like the one I received. It had a comfy couch (Not the hard leather one they really give you) All of the furniture was new and it matched. But when I moved in all of my roommates except one had old furniture. My dresser drawers are uneven and hard to open (There are four and when I open one, two others open with it)Only one of my roommates has a nice contemporary dresser. This place is VERY TACKY and I WOULD NOT RECOMMENED THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!
