They don't even have "customer service"

First of all if coherent, reasonable conversation with your lease provider is a requisite for you in your renting experience, please choose elsewhere to live. The office seldom answers emails (it seems they only answer the really easy emails, if that). Maintenance requests are spotty but when they do go through they do a decent job I suppose... but anyways about the actual apartments...
When I moved in my room was not cleaned prior. I noted this in my move in sheet and nothing was ever done about it. I also noted some damages and thought that would be that but then at the end of my lease they took it out of my deposit. I think I talked to every single staff person about it and no one was any help. They have to go through corporate to get any money back and would rather not. The apartments are very old, poorly maintained and dirty. The roommate matching service is non existant, they will simply pair you with someone of your gender. I got the opposite of what I asked for but I won't get into that.
Another important point would be the insulation. It is non existent, therefore in both winter and summer your utilities bill will (if split amongst 4) cost each person about seventy dollars when using heating or AC. This was a burden...
The "free wireless high speed internet" is neither high speed nor internet. You will maybe get dial-up speeds from 3 AM - 4AM if you are lucky. It is a completely unprotected and capped wireless signal that isn't even capable of streaming You Tube videos. What I find intersting is that the bandwidth they use is provided by Century-Tel through a local wireless internet provider, and then Century-Tel salesman come to your door asking you if you like your current internet and want to upgrade for 30 bucks a month... huh'
I kid you not the microwave could not make popcorn.
The washer and dryer worked but were from the eighties.
If anyone remotely near your apartment does anything wrong, the entire building will be cited and may be fined a seemingly random amount of money.
If your roommate doesn't pay utilities (even for months) they will not evict them.
The gym is hilarious, I bet the worst run high school in the Queensbridge housing projects in New York has a better gym. Let me explain to you their dumbell selection: ONE 25 LB TWO 10 LB. Also, the pool is never open during school so that is pretty much useless to residents who don't stay in the summer.
Parties are rampant at all hours of the morning.. Living here was pretty much a disaster..

I agree with you on how the place is run poorly by the management staff and on some of your other complaints as well. I am currently leasing my apartment in Campus View through MU and so far it has been a fairly good experience. For the first four months of this semester my roommate and I had the entire four bedroom apartment to ourselves and we recently had a new roommate that we both knew move in. The wireless internet service was absolutly terrible. They recently made upgrades to the system which made the wireless a little better but I am still constanly losing my connection and can never get anything done due to it moving slower then a snails pace. Oh yeah and you forgot to mention that trying to use the computer lab for anything besides checking email or surfing the net is a huge waste of your time. Besides the fact that the printer is constantly out of ink or broken and you can never print anything off, the computers in there don't have any of the basic software (no word, none of the microsoft office applications, you can't download pdf files, etc.). Overall, living out here has had its ups and downs and If I could go back I would not choose to live out here. I would defiantly recommend this place to a freshman who does not want to live in the dorms.

I most definitely do not/ did not owe any money ever. I always paid on time. I wish instead of assuming things/patrolling review sites, the staff would work on making their apartments habitable.
