My wife and I lived at Forest Village for 2 years. We have no complaints about the apartment, but did run into problems at the end of our lease. Our lease was up on July 31, 2004 so we called to see if we could check out before the 31st. The closest date we could check out was August 2nd. At the check out the lady that checked us out informed us that we would have to pay a half months rent because no one was moving in until August 15th, and if we didn't pay it they would take it out of our deposit. Why should we have to pay for a half months rent for a month that isn't in our lease' Our place was spotless so we didn't get anything else deducted, so that was good.

We are having to take Dan Hagan to court in order to get our full deposit back.

All lease agreements go to May 15 or August 15 of each year. The aparments are preleased each year based upon this information. This couple apparently wanted to move out prior to the end of their lease, and wanted to be released from their obligation to pay to the end of the lease term. No court action was taken. Mgr.
