I lived at Forrest Village for two years. It was nice. I lived alone and therefore had as much room as i could want. The apartments were old but adaquete. The maintenance man was wonderful, his name is Jason, one of the best i've ever knowsn. However, Dan Hagan, the landlord, is a bad man. He told me i was a bad tennant, was condescending and rude. He was always fining myself and neighbors for frivilous matters i.e. feeding wild cats. And they were not little fines-he fined my neibors 300 dollars for feeding wil cats. Hagan is smart and legally has covered all his bases however he will not let you live at the apartment if you have an old car as per his welcome letter. He has an old secratary who sounds like she smoked too much as a young woman, she is very rude over the phone. She told my girlfriend that "people like us" weren't allowed to have pets. Apparently the only people allowed to have pets are Older people. That's ageism. All in all I truly can't remember every thing that made me come to hate Mr Hagan, but i assure you, my time spent there was frustrating and difficult and i wish i had never lived there.

Pets are not allowed at FV. This restriction is in bold print in the lease, and in all ads. Nevertheless, we have not "fined" any tenant for feeding wild cats; i.e. cats not owned by the resident. However, tenants who bring a cat or other pet into their apartment in violation of the lease agreement are subject to being fined, but the maximum fine is $200; not the $300 mentioned. Pets are not allowed because they can damage the carpeting and woodwork. Mgr.
