There are a lot of negative things about Gatehouse apartments. When me and my roommate first moved in we got two violations. We moved in and both of us went to our parents house over break. We didn't understand, how we could have gotten violations, when we weren't even here. Also, the neighbors seem to be really nosy. We got a violations that we were making sexual noises in our apartment. I me and my roommate are both females and we don't even have guys over at our apartment. Even if we did, neighbors shouldn't be so nosy in listening into our apartment. GROSS!!!
Our bathroom keeps clogging up. We were promised new carpets. At it seemsed like our carpets were clean when we first moved in. Then spots started to apear. Even under our Entertainment center. How could that happen, if the enterainment center is laying and covering the floor. I think that either the apartment people need to be up front and honest about the carpet thing or not charge us for stuff that keeps reappearing. Yes, we cleaned are carpets before and the same spots keeping showing up.
However, as a college student. I could hardly afford paying my half of the rent. So I think you get what you pay for. I think if you are going to move into this aparment building then you will just have to accept noise, and other neighbor problems. Even the kids that Jumps all around and you can hear all their noise when your next to them. And the nosy neighbors that keep looking into your window when they pass by. And their kids just stair at you when your in a tanktop and shorts and in your apartment. Living here is like living with one big family. Everyone can hear, and watches what you are doing and never think about privacy of the other.
One good thing I can say and I think its important is that I feel safe here. Regardless of all the other annoying stuff. I dont feel like my car will get stolen, or that I would get robbed, or rapped or any thing. I think that doing a background check on everyone. I think I can deal with everything else, because of feeling safe.
