DBC pays ALL your utilities in Providence Court (even high speed internet and basic cable). The apartments are good quality, allow up to two pets, the neighborhood is quiet, there is ample parking, washer and dryers in unit. Snow removal is awesome. Friendly staff. Worth the money, I promise.

False.. After living there only 3 months my roommate and i both wanted to terminate our contract and move. The apartments are SO old and everything in it is disgusting. The build of it just isn't holding up anymore. We had mice and big spiders. And possibly the worst part is that since they're so old they're not energy efficient AT ALL and our utility bills would be around $150-$180 each month. If you have allergies you'll be in awful shape because the landlords don't ever change the air filters. The maintenance was really good, though. They'd come out really quickly after we'd call in to report things. But, I assure you, it is NOT worth the money. Not at Lakeside at least. The two bedrooms run $550 a month which sounds great, only I now live out west in a beautiful area and have found 2 bedrooms for $600 a month that are WAY nicer than Lakeside. Whatever you're saving in their cheap rent, you're paying in either your utility bills or whatever else to make the place liveable. Take my advice, don't live here.

I don't know if you noticed, but this thread is for Providence Court, NOT Lakeside. Both complexes are owned by the same company, but are in completely different locations. Lakeside may have older buildings (hence the cheaper price... you get what you pay for) but Providence Court was built in the past five years and are in great working condition. Spiders are a problem in most apartments in SW Columbia, not just DBC apartments. I have lived in a few apartments in SW Columbia (Providence Court being the first DBC one) and have had spiders at all of them. When I had problems with spiders at Providence Court, someone came over and sprayed right after I called and I have never had a problem since. The air filters are also changed on a regular basis. I know because I have seen them do so. Perhaps you moved out before they changed them?? Try reading the title of the thread before making a post next time buddy!
