Once we could actually tour the place (which was beautiful, obviously well-maintained and spacious), the place looked like a steal (great neighborhood, low price, etc.). Once we applied, however, the crazy red-haired lady managing the place reminded us that she "runs a tight ship" when we asked if there was a pool or any other student-age residents (what'); the next day she told us we were approved, and when I called to follow up on her message, she said, "No, you were never approved!" and hung up. I feel sorry for her very nice husband, who seems to do all the work. Also, manager's office is also her stinky apartment in which she keeps small children (presumably her grandchild) to whom she is very mean.

paulandaaron, I lived there from 2004 to 2006 and I am uncertain to whom you refer as "the crazy red-headed" lady". During the first few weeks of my lease, an older couple were the managers. She was very hateful and mean and he was somewhat mousey. I do not recall that she had red-hair, nor do I recall their names, but he went by initials like J.R. or J.C. The next managers were Ron and Kathy. She did have red-hair, but was not mean, crazy, or stinky. In fact, after they became managers, I decided to stay and renewed my lease for another year. I would have stayed longer; however, I graduated and moved back to Illinois. I am moving back to Columbia this spring and was researching apartments when I came across this post and felt impelled to respond. Can anyone tell me anything about the current management?
