Can't wait to move!

My boyfriend and I have been living here for almost 3 months now and are counting the days until our lease is up. Yea, already. Where to start' How bout the windows... Every day, multiple times a day, they have to be wiped down because they fog up, the condensation then makes all the paint peel and then the mold starts. But don't worry, the mold will only be a problem in the summer months because in the winter, it looks like a freakin freezer in our home. The windows are currently frozen shut from the inside with great big pieces of ice that are in the process of melting and dripping all over our floor because of the heater being on. But it's not like we have a choice because this place is so poorly insulated that we end up with a $150 electric bill from having to run it so much.
Oh then there's the bug issue. We are very clean people and I absolutely hate bugs so this has been a big problem for me. So far since we've been here we've had encounters with Brown Recluse spiders, a wood roach and an enormous amount of fleas! We reported it and they said they bombed our place but we have our doubts as anyone who has ever had flea encounters knows they are not hard to kill. It's been over a month and we still have them... even after getting our place exterminated and them taking $175 out of our deposit after deciding that we were responsible for the bug problem. I vacuum everday, sweep and mop as needed or at least weekly, dishes are done immediately after use, all food is sealed shut, and we have no pets! There should be no reason that we are having to deal with this!
The carpet is extremely cheap. I've never lived in a place where you had to empty the container multiple times before you were even finished because most of it was carpet fibers. I'm starting to wonder if we'll even have carpet by the time our lease is up in July.
The staff is a freakin joke too. They pretend to be all helpful when you make a request for maintenance, like we did because our heater went out, and then when nobody comes over they say "Sorry, the request must have been lost in the shuffle". I've been working in an office for almost 9 years and I've never seen so many unprofessional people.
And don't even bother with trying to go to work when the roads are icy. Apparently these people don't like to salt down the driveways to get out of here (which btw, are uphill) so many people are stuck here until the weather warms up.
We've never missed work so much as we have now due to not being able to leave the complex. It's absolutely insane.
Oh and lets not forget about the locks issue! Just recently there were several robberies going on and so the staff was having everyones locks changed. Well good thing cuz as it turned out, we had the same freakin lock as our neighbors! Comforting huh' Oh but wait, it gets better. They change the locks and they bring us the keys and then what happens' Now we have to go to the office because they gave us the WRONG keys! These people are morons!
The only nice thing I can say about this place is everything is pretty to look at. Our apartment LOOKS nice, the buildings LOOK nice and even the surrounding area does. But that's what got us. We were so excited about moving into such a "nice" place that we just didn't seem to notice anything else. We won't be making that mistake again. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai
