I moved to the Links expecting the luxury apartment accomodations that the Links promises. While I enjoy the on-site gym and the view from my deck, I should be paying AT LEAST $200 less for this apartment. There has recently been crime in the area and the management was negligent in their responsibility to protect residents. I am a single woman living alone in these apartments and was shocked to learn that someone, and I DO NOT FEEL SAFE knowing that someone could have had access to my apartment and the management did not care. My utility bills are way too expensive, owing to the cheap materials used to build this place. I can literally see outside through the space between my door and the door framing. It was freezing in the winter despite paying $200 plus each month for heat. The walls are paper-thin, we can hear EVERYTHING going on in the neighbor's apartments. Do yourself a favor and don't buy into the fancy facade this complex offers. Do a little bit more work and you can find a better deal on rent, a safer neighborhood, more privacy, and fewer headaches.
